Waterstof Coalitie Limburg – WCL wil katalysator zijn voor alle alternatieve energiebronnen en -dragers, met waterstof in het bijzonder, binnen de energietransitie in Limburg. 

WCL is een onafhankelijk netwerk en kennisgroep, die initiatieven in Limburg (en daarbuiten) met elkaar in contact brengt en bundelt.

WCL doet onderzoek naar waterstof toepassingen die dicht bij de markt staan, zorgt voor opleiding en kennisoverdracht, en verbindt organisaties waardoor regionale projecten rondom waterstof- en andere duurzame energietoepassingen sneller kunnen ontstaan. Lees meer

The official opening of the Hydrogen Coalition Limburg will take place on Friday morning 21 October at the Brightlands Chemelot campus in Geleen. During this morning, various speakers will talk about the opportunities of hydrogen within the energy transition for numerous parties in Dutch Limburg and the connection between Limburg and the rest of the Netherlands and the Euregio. In addition, interactive workshops will be organized in which your opinion is extremely important. In the morning we zoom in on Dutch Limburg and the interests and opportunities for companies, governments, knowledge institutions and citizens’ initiatives are discussed.

We will address the following questions:

• How and when is sustainable hydrogen relevant for these aforementioned groups?
• How can companies, governments, knowledge institutions and citizens together shape the energy transition in Limburg using sustainable hydrogen?
• What are the first experiences of companies and other organizations that are already working on it?
• How can interesting initiatives be financed?

Between the program components and at the end of our program there is also the possibility to receive an explanation about a hydrogen car on location by one of our experts. Not excited enough yet? You can also produce hydrogen yourself and learn more about the production and use of hydrogen!
